Ascent to K2 by Joe Frank
K2 is near the northern-most border of Kashmir, although it is the second highest mountain in the world, it is nevertheless the most difficult to climb because the last mile and a half consists of sheer vertical rock, with sub zero winds that are ferocious. It's a mountain that has had such a history of disasters that nobody tries to climb it any more, and this is why I decided to attempt it... LINK!
